Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This is my favorite time of the year. I love the cold (even though its 70 degrees today), the Christmas music, the fairy lights, and all that comes along with it. I also love buying Christmas gifts, but let’s be honest, sometimes its hard. There’s so many people to buy for, and you want to buy everyone something that is special and personal to them. So today I’m going to help you find a special gift for the foodie in your life.

Cooking Equipment
Crock-pot- Honestly this is probably the best present you could get for the busy foodies in your life. I use my Crock-pot at least once a week, if not more. Its especially useful in the Fall/Winter to make soup, chili, stews, etc.

Mini Chopper- My mom actually got me one of these last year and I use it all the time. This little guy is something that I never knew I needed until I had it. It makes chopping vegetables so much easier, and can double as a little food processor to puree things as well.

Juicer/Blender– I feel like juicers or blenders are things that a lot of people want, but just don’t buy for themselves. These are great presents for the healthy foodie in your life.

Cook Books
Cooking Light Fresh Food Fast- This is definitely my favorite cookbook. Everything I’ve tried has been so good, and everything is incredibly easy to make. To make it even better, all recipes have 5 ingredients and don’t take long to make at all.

The SkinnytasteSkinnytaste is one of my favorite food blogs, and my go-to site when I’m looking for a new recipe. Everything in the book is really easy and healthy, without being bland.

Get the Glow I haven’t personally tried this book but I’ve seen tons of people talking about it. Its filled with healthy recipes and beautiful pictures, so it could even double as a coffee table book.

Other
Food tour-
Any foodie loves a good food tour. A lot of cities have different food tours that take you around to great restaurants throughout the city. If you live in a big city, there may even be more fun, specialized tours. I did a cupcake tour of Manhattan a few years ago that was so much fun! You can find them on Groupon and Living Social a lot as well.

Cooking Class– A cooking class is always a fun thing that you can do with the foodie in your life. Lots of places like Southern Season or Sur la Table offer tons of fun, themed cooking classes.

Restaurant Gift Card- I know gift cards aren’t ideal, but you can make themreally personal! If you know your foodie has been wanting to try a specific restaurant for a long time, get them a gift card to that restaurant so they can finally give it a try!

Monthly Subscription Box- A monthly subscription box like Graze, Nature box, or a plethora of others, are a gift that keeps on giving. As a monthly box subscriber myself, I can tell you that I get so excited to get a new box every month! There’s tons of different food related boxes for all budgets and a lot of sites offer a 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions.

These are just a few gifts that I think any food lover would be happy to receive. I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and are getting in the festive spirit!
